[Design] Based on the 1940s 506XXE—commonly known as the "T-back" model—this piece has been refined for a more wearable fit. The length has been slightly extended to avoid being too short. While the original design features a flatter shoulder slope that often causes fabric to bunch up around the shoulders and armholes, this version adjusts the shoulder slope and slightly raises the sleeve head to create a better silhouette. It features original-style tack buttons.
[Material] Crafted from 13oz selvedge indigo denim, the fabric replicates the yarn construction found in 501XX models from the late 1950s to the early 1960s, woven with a high-density, tight weave. It develops a beautiful vertical fading pattern, capturing an authentic vintage aesthetic.
[Finish] Through a series of manual, labor-intensive processes designed to replicate vintage characteristics, the denim achieves a natural, aged look—complete with the nuanced color variations that come with long-term wear.
