CAHLUMN Linen Fisherman Pant

"I saw a foreign woman wearing Thai pants and carrying a large backpack on the Shinkansen platform, and I decided to make these pants. They're 100% linen. However, if I had made them as is, they wouldn't be very practical for everyday use, so I made significant changes to the design around the waist and the specifications around the front, and tapered the hem slightly, just maintaining the same feel. These pants are meant to be worn in Thailand, where it's hot and humid, so I think they also meet the casualness that people in Japan look for in summer clothes. I tried them out in May, and even if I did break a sweat, they stayed dry and comfortable. Linen is a natural functional material that can be used all year round, with heat retention, durability, heat dissipation, and moisture absorption and quick-drying properties. It keeps the body warm in winter and releases excess heat in summer, while absorbing water even when you sweat and drying quickly. The pants are made from smooth, 14-count linen yarn, so they're fine-grained, firm, and resilient, and even if you sweat, they remain dry on the surface, making them refreshing to wear at all times. They're comfortable whether you're in the city, traveling, or sleeping." (AH)
Relaxed pants that are easy to wear, like Thai pants. The front part is zippered. Both sides and the back crotch are made with three-needle stitching. The back of the waist has elastic shirring, but also has a spindle, so it is beltless. Both side pockets have blue bar closures. The slightly shorter 9/10th length goes great with classic sandals.
