The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit the climate and trends of Japan. Based on a sweatshirt hoodie featuring 80s-style two-button details on the hood and a 50s-60s-style script logo printed large on the front, the material and fit have been updated. The front is made of cotton and the back is made of cotton/polyester yarn, making it our own unique double-face jersey material with just the right thickness.

The original "Double Face Jersey" fabric is used, with cotton on the surface and cotton/polyester yarn on the reverse side.
This material combines the natural look of cotton with the smooth feel and lightness of polyester.
It's the perfect thickness—thicker than a T-shirt but thinner than a sweatshirt—making it suitable for use throughout the year.
Ribbed section: 58% polyester / 42% cotton

The cuffs, hem, and sides are ribbed.

"An Outdoor Tradition Since 1912," the LLBean logo is given a classic look by using puff printing.
The print on this product has been treated with a special process. The print is not permanent and may peel off if rubbed or scratched. Also, the colors may fade slightly with repeated washing.
