L.L.Bean JAPAN EDITION Women's Bean's Field Coat

The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit Japan's climate and trends. Originating from a hunting coat first introduced in 1924, our classic Original Field Coat has been updated in terms of material, specifications, and fit. High-density taffeta, made from a blend of indigo-dyed fine cotton yarn and hollow polyester yarn, is woven with two layers of thin padding between the lining for superior warmth. Furthermore, stonewashing after sewing creates a natural faded look and soft texture, reminiscent of years of wear, resulting in a lightweight, enveloping comfort.

Do not soak or leave wet.
Dark colors may transfer color to other items when rubbed or wet, so be careful when wearing them with white or light-colored items.
Avoid ironing the corduroy parts.
If the water-repellent effect weakens, clean with a commercially available water-repellent spray or consult a dry cleaner.
Use a pressing cloth when ironing.
