The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit Japan's climate and trends. Originating from a hunting coat first introduced in 1924, our classic Original Field Coat has been updated in terms of material, specifications, and fit. High-density taffeta, made from a blend of indigo-dyed fine cotton yarn and hollow polyester yarn, is woven with two layers of thin padding between the lining for superior warmth. Furthermore, stonewashing after sewing creates a natural faded look and soft texture, reminiscent of years of wear, resulting in a lightweight, enveloping comfort.

Outer fabric: 100% nylon
This product utilizes TRUSSAIR®, a hollow-section nylon developed by Toray.
Despite being made of nylon, it combines a very matte, classic look with a lightweight feel.
Lining: 100% polyester
Filling (main body): Made of 72% down, 20% rayon, and 8% feathers, using <Kōdenshi® DOWN>.
Rib-knit section: Made from 64% acrylic, 27% wool, 8% polyester, and 1% polyurethane.

"Photoelectron®" By incorporating fine ceramic particles into the fibers, it utilizes far-infrared rays emitted from the wearer's own body heat to maintain comfortable warmth.
Features of clothing using "Kodenshi®" A natural heat retention effect that creates a gentle warmth by utilizing far-infrared rays emitted from the body (e.g., the warmth you feel when you put your palms together).
Features of apparel using "Kodenshi®" Unlike "heating" materials that generate heat from moisture such as sweat, it retains heat using body heat, so it is less stuffy and provides comfort without getting too hot.
"Kōdenshi® Down" refers to rayon fibers infused with Kōdenshi® ceramics mixed with down.
"Kodenshi® Down" combines the lightness and heat retention of down with the added benefit of natural warmth from far-infrared rays.
The front has seven snap buttons and a two-way zipper closure.
Features zippered pockets on both sides, left chest, and left inner side.
The inside of the cuffs is lined with ribbed material to prevent cold air from entering.
The collar features an embroidered Old Katahdin logo without a frame at the center back and lower left hem.
The hem has a drawstring for adjustable fit and blousing.
