The reason we feel cold is because heat escapes from the body.
Down jackets provide warmth by trapping heat in the air layers of the feathers, enveloping the body in warm air.

That's why it's been said that "feathers that can store a lot of air = high-quality down."

This property is indicated by FP (fill power). FP is a unit of measurement that indicates the expansion of 1 ounce (28.4g) of feathers when compressed. The higher the number, the more air it can store.

Of the many down materials available, NANGA WHITE LABEL uses the highest quality Hungarian silver goose down.

While down with a FP of 600FP or above is generally considered premium, this down has an FP of over 900FP.

Not only is it a high number, but it's also a special feather that can maintain its performance even in harsh environments.

The soft, cozy feel of being enveloped in fluffy fabric would not be possible without this feather.

What's more, the feathers themselves are treated with an ultra-water-repellent UDD (Ultra Dry Down), so there's no need for loss of bulk when wet.

Finally, FP and fill volume determine the jacket's warmth. Only when these two factors are combined can it be truly warm.

The Strongest Down Jacket TYPE 2 is filled with 248g (average for a size M) of feathers with a FP of over 900FP, the maximum amount that NANGA can fill it with.

This is the result of repeated testing conducted by NANGA's artisans, pattern makers, and staff in pursuit of the optimal balance between mobility and warmth, and as a result, we have slightly adjusted the fill amount since last year.
By maximizing the expansion efficiency of the down, we have achieved an even warmer and more comfortable feel.

The outer fabric is made of lightweight, highly durable 2.5-layer waterproof and breathable material.
It exceeds the waterproof and breathable performance of the classic "Auroratex," but is less than half the thickness at 20 denier.
The triple ripstop structure makes it tear-resistant, supple, and stretchy, with a matte, luxurious finish.
The lining combines 20 denier recycled nylon with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and 30 denier anti-static material.
It is stain-resistant and efficiently transfers heat to the down, keeping it dry and comfortable all winter long.

The shoulder pattern uses a unique seamless structure that took two years to perfect.
It maintains the air layer of the down, improving warmth and reducing stress when carrying the bag.

We've also paid careful attention to everyday usability.
Until now, one of the most common reasons for replacing down jackets was because the collar got dirty.

That's why we've included a down collar that can be easily removed and attached with a zipper, and the lining is made of comfortable, stain-resistant block fleece.

It's also machine washable at home, making everyday care easy.
This will significantly reduce the need for replacement and ensure it remains a great winter companion for years to come.
By the way, the down collar is also filled with plenty of down, which has the added benefit of sealing gaps around the neck and preventing cold air from entering.

Waterproof zippers are used on the front and pockets, which are exposed to the outside.
The front uses a Vislon type zipper that is highly waterproof and opens and closes smoothly, combining operability and waterproofness.

The pockets include plenty of inner pockets and mesh pockets.
What's more, the front pockets are lined with block fleece, making them ideal hand warmers.
They're also packed with down, so they'll quickly warm up numb hands.

The chest pocket has a padded sheet on the outside to protect stored items from the cold.
Storing your smartphone in it will help reduce battery drain in cold temperatures. Even larger models can fit inside, and the design means they won't get in the way of your chest.

The stoppers for adjusting the hem and hood are sewn inside, and the cords are pulled from inside the pockets.
The fact that they're completely invisible from the outside is actually a key feature in maintaining the minimalist design.
