We have crafted a coach jacket with a luxurious touch, incorporating corduroy material alongside lining and internal pockets typically found in tailored suits. The exterior features a rugged, high-density corduroy with a "lived-in" look, achieved through a special finish that mimics years of wear. The lining is made from a premium, high-density fabric woven from fine-gauge yarn. Cupro fabric—commonly used in tailored jackets—is utilized for the sleeve lining as well. (The name is a play on words combining "Grand" [luxurious] and "Ground.")
Fabric This is a high-density, Japanese-made, 10-wale double-pile corduroy. It undergoes a rigorous finishing process to create a rugged, powerful texture. The high-density weave results in a fine pile structure and allows for deep, beautiful color saturation during dyeing. The finished garment undergoes a distressing process to replicate the look and feel of a jacket worn over many years.
