This crewneck sweatshirt was created based on Unlikely’s vision of the ideal simple, basic sweatshirt. Special attention was paid to the neckline—specifically the neck width and the front drop—while the ribbing was knitted to a slightly elongated length. It features a simple set-in sleeve design constructed with twin-needle stitching. The garment is a truly original piece, blending distinctive elements from the 1940s through the 1990s—such as size proportions and graphic placement. The cuffs feature long, turn-up style ribbing complete with thumbholes, giving the piece an outdoor and sportswear-inspired finish. It is adorned with a classic satin "NORTH WEST" patch, attached using traditional zigzag (houndstooth) stitching.
The fabric is a tightly knitted French terry (loopback jersey) that is denser than standard 30x30x10 varieties, achieved by using a thicker middle yarn and a higher knitting gauge. Additionally, the use of two-ply yarn for the backing threads enhances the fabric's loft and ensures a soft, comfortable feel against the skin. *This product has undergone a used-look finish.
