The CMF Inner Down is a seasonal staple. Just like the previous version, it utilizes a new technology—"CMF Woven"—in which the outer and inner fabrics are woven together in an X-pattern to hold the down filling (90% down/10% feather, 700 fill power) in place, eliminating the need for traditional down-containment packs. Conventional bonded down jackets often suffer from bond failure due to aging, causing the seams to burst and the down to clump in isolated spots, rendering the garment unwearable; however, because this technology secures the down through the weave itself, such issues do not occur. For this season, the design has been updated from a crew neck to a stand collar.
