The design is a corduroy adaptation of the utility mechanic pants once issued to U.S. Air Force mechanics. It features a newly designed "double pocket" configuration where a large patch pocket overlays a zippered side pocket. Practical details for modern life have been incorporated, such as a tool pocket sized to hold a mobile phone. In addition to the fabric's qualities, the inclusion of drawcords at the waist and hem ensures ease of movement.
