Born in the UK, PERTEX is an extremely thin, lightweight and strong nylon material developed by a British mountaineer in 1979.
This jet cap uses PERTEX SHIELD (water pressure resistance: 20,000mm, breathability: 20,000g/m2/24h) laminated with a breathable waterproof film for the outer fabric. It is also characterized by its waterproofness due to seam sealing and flexibility due to mechanical stretch.
