This duffel bag is crafted from No. 8 canvas, a plain weave of twisted cotton yarn. Primarily used for tents and truck tarpaulins, this durable, breathable material offers superior performance compared to regular cotton. All processes for this No. 8 canvas, from spinning, weaving, dyeing, and washing, are carried out in Japan. A final wash treatment is used to create a unique, worn-in look with a distinctive faded, worn-in feel and a soft, supple texture.
Inspired by aviator bags used by the U.S. military, this bag features a detachable strap, a feature not found on the original, providing a highly practical update.
