L.L.Bean JAPAN EDITION Dresden Hooded Jacket

The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit Japan's climate and trends. Based on our hooded parka from the '80s, which is made from a single piece from the chest to the back and sleeves, the material and fit have been updated. The padding is made with the advanced material "Photoelectron® Re:nsulation," which uses the far-infrared radiation material "Photoelectron®." It uses body heat as a heat source to maintain just the right amount of warmth and prevent overheating inside the garment. This garment will keep you comfortable even in extreme temperature situations, and will give you a sense of security and exclusivity the moment you put it on.

Material

• Outer fabric: 64% nylon / 36% cotton
• The original fabric, "Nyco Taffeta," is a combination of fine-gauge nylon and natural cotton.
• Further product washing gives it a more classic look.
• Lining: 100% polyester
• Rib-knit section: Made from 64% acrylic, 27% wool, 8% polyester, and 1% polyurethane.
• Filling: 100% polyester
• This product utilizes TORAY's proprietary 3D-structured, stretchable insulation, 〈3DeFX+® (Three Dee FX) INSULATION〉.
• Four types of helical fibers intertwine in a complex manner, resulting in high elasticity and bulkiness.
• It offers excellent heat retention thanks to its ample dead air pockets, and is also lightweight and compact.
• The 3D structure of the insulation eliminates the need for stitch-down construction, preventing cold spots and maintaining high heat retention.

Additional Information

• The shorter length and clean silhouette make it easy to match with various bottoms.
• The cuffs and hem are ribbed.
• This garment features a wool blend, seamless, and traditionally knitted tubular rib fabric.
• Front closure with two-way zipper.

• The inside of the hood and the body (including the inside of the pockets) are lined with fleece.
• The hood has a drawstring for adjustable fit.
