L.L.Bean JAPAN EDITION Prospect Double Knee Shorts

The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit Japan's climate and trends. It's based on an updated design of archive double-knee pants from the 1990s. Crafted from an original polyester material with a matte look and natural feel, these pants offer a lightness and stretch not found in cotton. They have a faded appearance reminiscent of well-worn cotton duck fabric, and feature a wide yet sleek waist and a length that falls just below the knee. The silhouette is perfect with socks, sandals, or sneakers.

Material & Care

• Made of 100% polyester
• Made with Techduck, a unique material made from polyester thread (S-fiber) with a special irregular cross section.
• The yarn itself is not uniform in thickness but has a complex shape, giving it a very matte, cotton-like appearance, natural touch, and lightness.
• A special print is applied to the woven fabric, and the print is removed by washing the fabric, giving the polyester fabric a faded look that resembles well-worn cotton duck.
• Machine washable
• Use a laundry net when washing/use a cloth when ironing
• Please wash separately
• Will shrink slightly when washed
• For off-white and light-colored items, please use a non-fluorescent detergent.
• Do not soak or leave wet.
• Dark colors may transfer to other items when rubbed or wet, so please be careful when wearing them with white or light colors.
• This product has undergone a special process that allows the color to fade with repeated wearing and washing, so each piece will have slightly different texture, color, and size, but please enjoy this as a characteristic of the product.
• This product may discolor if exposed to strong sunlight (lighting) for a long period of time, so please be careful when using and storing it.
