The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit Japan's climate and trends. Originating from a hunting coat first introduced in 1924, our classic Original Field Coat has been updated in terms of material, specifications, and fit. High-density taffeta, made from a blend of indigo-dyed fine cotton yarn and hollow polyester yarn, is woven with two layers of thin padding between the lining for superior warmth. Furthermore, stonewashing after sewing creates a natural faded look and soft texture, reminiscent of years of wear, resulting in a lightweight, enveloping comfort.

Material
Made from 70% cotton and 30% polyester.
The original "Feather Denim" fabric, a combination of indigo-dyed cotton and special polyester yarn, is used to allow for wear in three seasons.
Because the yarn itself has an uneven thickness and irregular shape, it offers a matte and natural texture compared to regular cotton/polyester denim.
It is lightweight, dries quickly, and is wrinkle-resistant.
