This special limited edition down jacket is named after Mt. Mikami, also known as Omi Fuji, due to its beautiful, gently sloping ridgeline in Yasu City, Shiga Prefecture. It is a jacket that brings together NANGA's unique technology, making use of the results of NANGA's long-standing research into sleeping bags.
This "AURORA TEX LIGHT DOWN JACKET MIKAMI" is NANGA's flagship down jacket, combining the finest warmth and lightness. It is made of AURORA TEX LIGHT®, a waterproof and breathable material developed exclusively by NANGA, and is extremely thin and lightweight at 15dn, yet has excellent water resistance. In addition, the lining is made of thin 10dn recycled nylon, which is soft to wear and efficiently transfers body heat to the down, providing excellent heat retention.
Ideal for winter sports and adventure activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and high mountain climbing. It is an item that will help you enjoy winter outdoor activities more comfortably and safely.
As for the down, 180g of high-quality SPDX (Polish goose down) feathers with 860FP (fill power) are enclosed. To enhance heat retention, the box quilt structure used in NANGA sleeping bags is used. It is used on the back, where the cold is more easily felt, and boasts outstanding heat retention. The Mikami line is a garment that brings together NANGA's unique technology.
The distinctive side zipper at the neck opens to become a mesh collar and has a ventilation function, so you can enjoy the change in design while functionally evaporating sweat quickly and promoting body temperature regulation through vaporization heat. It efficiently releases stuffiness to the outside, so you can continue to wear it comfortably for a long time.
The bottom of the chest pocket has a unique structure that separates it from the main body, so the contents of the pocket do not directly interfere with the body, and it is also comfortable to wear.
