This is a hooded version of the Minimalism series down jacket, which features a lightweight and compact design that can be used both outdoors and in everyday life. The Minimalism series features a design based on the actual mountain climbing experience of mountain guide Kuraoka, who holds the record for the most number of Japanese people to summit Everest.
The hooded version keeps your head warm and prevents cold wind and snow from entering. In addition, the cuffs and hood opening have elastic ribs to improve the fit and prevent outside air from entering.
This series is designed to meet high performance and professional needs. The outer material is made of 7d x 7d mini rip nylon, which is very lightweight yet durable. It is lightweight, compact, and easy to carry, so it is recommended for outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, as well as for traveling and everyday use.
The down is made of NANGA's unique UDD (ultra-water repellent down), which is resistant to water and moisture. Regular down is weak against water and its heat retention drops significantly when it gets wet, but UDD is water-repellent, so it maintains high heat retention even when wet. It also dries quickly, making it ideal for outdoor activities and use in bad weather.
There is also ventilation from the armpits to the underarms, so it can also be used as a mid-layer while on the move. There are three sliders for ventilation, allowing for precise temperature adjustment.
The pockets on the chest and waist have zippers to prevent items from falling out.
