We've pursued a balance that blends in naturally, whether in the city or outdoors.

The reason people feel cold is because heat escapes from the body.
Down jackets provide insulation by trapping heat in the air layers of the feathers, enveloping the body in warm air.

That's why it's been said that "feathers that can store a lot of air = high-quality down."

This property is expressed in fill power (FP).
This is a unit that represents the expansion of 1 ounce (28.4g) of feathers when compressed, and the higher the number, the more air they can store.

Of the many down materials available, NANGA WHITE LABEL uses the highest quality Hungarian silver goose down.

While a down rating of 600 FP or higher is generally considered high-quality, this down jacket measures an astounding 900 FP or higher.
Not only does it have a high FP rating, but these special down feathers are able to maintain their performance even in harsh environments.
The soft, cozy feel of being wrapped in fluffy fabric would not be possible without these feathers.

What's more, the down itself has been treated with an ultra-water-repellent finish, making it UDD (Ultra Dry Down), so there's no problem with it losing bulk when wet.

And it's the FP and fill volume that determine its warmth. Only when these two are combined can down be truly warm.

The down jacket is filled with 110g (average for a size M) of feathers with over 900 FP.
A fill volume of 110g is comparable to that of regular mid-winter downwear.
But NANGA WHITE LABEL has deliberately defined it as "light outerwear."
The volume is just right, precisely because it's designed for life in Hokkaido.

The outer fabric is made from a lightweight, highly durable 2.5-layer waterproof and breathable material.
This 20-denier down jacket boasts waterproof and breathable performance that exceeds that of the classic Auroratex, yet is less than half the thickness.

The triple ripstop construction provides tear resistance, suppleness, and stretch, with a matte, luxurious finish.

The lining combines 20-denier recycled nylon with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and 30-denier anti-static material.

It's stain-resistant and efficiently transfers heat to the down, keeping it dry and comfortable even in winter.

The shoulder pattern features a unique seamless structure that took two years to perfect.

This prevents the down's air layer from being interrupted, improving warmth and reducing stress when carrying a bag.

We've also paid careful attention to everyday usability.

Until now, a common reason for replacing down jackets has been due to dirty collars.

That's why we've chosen a comfortable, stain-resistant block fleece for the neck lining.

It's also machine washable at home, making everyday care easy.
This will significantly reduce the need for replacement and make it a long-lasting winter companion.
By the way, the collar is also filled with plenty of down, which has the added benefit of tightly sealing gaps around the neck and preventing cold air from entering.

Waterproof zippers are used on the front and pockets, which are exposed to the outside.
The front uses a Vislon zipper that is highly water-resistant and opens and closes smoothly, combining operability with waterproofness.

The jacket is equipped with a variety of inner and mesh pockets.
The front pocket is also lined with block fleece, which doubles as a hand warmer pocket.
It is also filled with down, so it will quickly warm numb hands.

The chest pocket has a padded sheet on the outside to protect stored items from the cold.
Storing a smartphone in the pocket will reduce battery drain in cold temperatures. Even larger models can fit inside, and the design is such that it won't interfere with your chest.

A stopper for adjusting the hem is sewn inside, and the cord is pulled from inside the pocket.
This is actually an important point in maintaining a minimalist design, as it is completely invisible from the outside.
