This property is expressed in fill power (FP).
FP is a unit that expresses the expansion of 1 ounce (28.4g) of feathers when compressed; the higher the number, the more air they can store.

Of the many down materials available, NANGA WHITE LABEL uses the highest quality Hungarian silver goose down.

While a down grade of 600FP or higher is generally considered premium, this down's FP is an astounding 900FP or higher.

Not only is this a high rating, but it's also a special feather that can maintain its performance even in harsh environments.

The soft, cozy feel of being wrapped up in fluffy fabric would not be possible without this feather.

What's more, the feathers themselves are treated with an ultra-water-repellent UDD (Ultra Dry Down), which eliminates the drawback of losing bulk when wet.

Finally, the FP and fill level determine the jacket's warmth. Only when these two factors are combined can it be truly warm.

The TYPE 1 Strongest Down Jacket is filled with 246g (average for a size M) of feathers with a 900FP or higher rating, the maximum amount that NANGA can fill it with.

This is the result of repeated testing by NANGA's artisans, pattern makers, and staff, in pursuit of the optimal balance between mobility and warmth. We have adjusted the fill level slightly since last year.
By maximizing the expansion efficiency of the down, this jacket has evolved to be even warmer and more comfortable.

The outer fabric is made of lightweight, highly durable 2.5-layer waterproof and breathable material.
It offers waterproof and breathable performance that exceeds the classic "Auroratex" yet is less than half the thickness at 20 denier.
The triple ripstop construction makes it tear-resistant, supple, and stretchy, with a matte, luxurious finish.

The lining combines 20 denier recycled nylon with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and 30 denier anti-static material.
It is stain-resistant and efficiently transfers heat to the down, keeping it dry and comfortable even in winter.

The shoulder pattern uses a unique seamless structure that took two years to perfect.
This prevents the air layer of the down from being interrupted, improving cold protection and reducing stress when carrying a bag.

We have also paid careful attention to everyday usability.
Until now, one of the most common reasons for replacing a down jacket was because the collar got dirty.
That's why we've designed a down collar that can be easily removed and attached with a zipper, and the lining is made of comfortable, stain-resistant block fleece.

It's also machine washable at home, making daily care easy.
This will significantly reduce the need for replacement and ensure a long-lasting winter companion.
Incidentally, the down collar is also filled with plenty of feathers, which has the added benefit of sealing gaps around the neck and preventing cold air from entering.

Water-resistant zippers are used on the front and pockets, which are exposed to the outside.
The front uses a Vislon zipper that is highly waterproof and opens and closes smoothly, combining operability with waterproofness.

In addition to a secret pocket, the jacket is equipped with a variety of inner and mesh pockets.
The front pocket is also lined with block fleece, making it ideal as a handwarmer pocket.
It's also filled with feathers, so it will quickly warm up numb hands.

The secret chest pocket is large enough to fit a smartphone.
The simple design uses the fluffiness of the down to cover the zipper and prevent water from getting in.
Feathers are also sealed on the outside, so your smartphone battery will not drain easily, even in cold weather.

The stoppers for adjusting the hem and hood are sewn inside, and the cords are pulled from inside the pockets.
The fact that they are completely invisible from the outside is actually an important point in maintaining the minimalist design.
