This piece, quintessentially "Unlikely" in its approach, reimagines a vintage snowflake-patterned sweatshirt as a knitted garment. It is an ambitious creation for which each individual element of the original print was extracted and translated into digital design data for the knit. The color palette replicates the authentic hues found in the original vintage pieces. The garment is crafted from lambswool and subjected to a fulling (felting) process, which ensures the patterns are rendered with striking clarity.
Fabric We use lambswool from the "Comeback" breed—a cross between Merino and British sheep breeds. It is characterized by its lightweight, soft texture and a distinctive, springy loft, offering exceptional thermal insulation.
